I plan on maxing out my tfsa in next 5 years. Keep in mind that xuu and xuu.u have different cusip numbers, so you can't buy in usd and then sell it for the cad$ equivalent. Switching from xuu to vun though would be stupid at this time, as you've already missed all that growth.
Xuh has insurance against changes in the currency.
In xuu, those smaller cap companies will count for a tiny fraction of a percentage compared to the largest cap ones which may count for as much as 5% in just one company. I have 31.5% in vun in my tfsa.
