I uninstalled 3d paint because it wasn't working right. (new as in different to the last location a file was saved to). Awhile back i wanted to stop those dreadful windows updates.
When editing in ms paint i often have the requirement to 'undo' the last few steps.
Open a blank screen in paint and save it as a.jpg in the location you want. I find if i open a file at a new location (file, open), then file, save as will save at that location. Currently, paint only seems to undo. Then i have the whole screen in paint to cut & paste sections to fill it by using another paint page prepped in similar way for print screens & cuts from it.
If i rt click the file, open with. Not sure if this will help in your case. I'm hoping someone can help with this. Undo in ms paint hello folks!
