I am not sure if this is a common problem, but i keep seeing that whatsapp indicates (1) notification on whatsapp web, which i can't get rid of (see picture). This happened a few months ago. Open whatsapp web in chrome web browser, f12 (enter dev tools), now go to application tab and delete all indexeddb one by one. Since last night, whatsapp web on chrome and every other browser i've tried has been using way more cpu than it needs or had previously used.
Whatsapp web will stay connected for 14 days.
